Contea di Sclafani DOC Magnum still red, 14% ABV, produced by Tasca d’Almerita. Blend: 62% Nero d’Avola, 38% Perricone, 2018 vintage. A wine that celebrates the history and tradition of Sicily, born in the heart of Regaleali, where the Tasca d’Almerita family has been growing vines since 1830. Aromas of cherry, morello cherry, walnut husk, berries, vanilla, cinnamon, mint, sage, and tobacco. Intense ruby red with purple highlights. Rich in ripe and concentrated fruit, fragrant, and balanced. Aged in 225-liter, 100% new French oak barrels (Allier and Tronçais). Bottled for 12 months.
