Still red wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, 13% ABV, produced by Cavit. 100% Pinot Noir, a grape variety that best expresses its characteristics in this region. 0.75-liter bottle, 2022 vintage. Cavit, founded in 1950, is a cooperative representing over 4,500 winemakers associated with 11 wineries and 65% of Trentino’s wine production. Vinification is carried out according to the traditional „red“ system, with maceration and fermentation on the skins lasting 7-8 days. After a brief stay in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged partly in barriques and partly in oak barrels. It presents very pronounced aromas of red fruits, particularly black cherry and jam, with hints of almond and vanilla notes. Ruby in color with typical brick-red hues that become more evident with prolonged aging. On the palate it refines considerably over time thanks to its excellent structure, offering velvety and powdery sensations of notable harmony.
