Still red Oltrepò Pavese DOC, 14% ABV, produced by Castello di Cigognola. 100% Barbera. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A Barbera that expresses the excellence of Oltrepò Pavese, with careful vinification that enhances its freshness and fragrance. Maceration for 12-15 days. Alcoholic fermentation: in stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation: in large French oak barrels. Aged for 8 months in large barrels and then 8 months in bottle. Fruity and fragrant on the nose. Deep ruby red color. Balanced and elegant on the palate with clear sensations of perfectly ripe fruit. The finish is full-bodied, enveloping, and captivating.
