Still red Alto Adige DOC, 13% vol, produced by Colterenzio. 100% Lagrein. 0.75 l bottle, 2023 vintage. A Lagrein Riserva made in Gries (Bolzano) from grapes grown in alluvial, sandy soils with a high percentage of porphyry. Fermentation on the skins at 28-30°C in stainless steel. Careful pumping over of the skins and juice ensures optimal color extraction. The wine ferments 1/3 in barriques and 2/3 in 35 hl wooden vats for approximately 12 months. After careful bottling, it is aged in the bottle for another 12 months. Dark garnet red with purple highlights. Notes of violet, cinnamon, and subtle hints of vanilla emerge on the nose. Sharp acidity and aromas of berries and black cherry on the palate.
