Etna Bianco DOC, 13% ABV, produced by Giovanni Rosso in the Solicchiata area (CT). 100% Carricante, 2023 vintage. A white wine that expresses Etna’s volcanic terroir, with fermentation lasting approximately 15 days, preceded by a light maceration on the skins. Aged in stainless steel with élevage sur lie for 5 months before bottling with weekly batonnage. On the nose, good aromatic intensity, with notes of broom and yellow-skinned citrus on a herbaceous background. Full-bodied, intense and linear on the palate, with great freshness and a savory, persistent finish. Awarded 93/100 by Vinous.
