Organic still white wine, Terre Siciliane IGT, 12.5% ABV, produced by Gulfi. Blend: 60% Chardonnay, 40% Carricante, 0.75L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine that combines the freshness of Chardonnay with the minerality of Carricante, a tribute to Sicily and its viticulture. In 1996, Vito Catania, an entrepreneur originally from Chiaramonte Gulfi, decided to revitalize his family’s winemaking tradition. Fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Aged in stainless steel on its own lees and from the spring following the harvest, for several months in bottle. Intense, rich, ample, fruity with hints of apple and exotic fruit. Straw yellow in color with green reflections. Dry, harmonious, with just the right amount of acidity, with an aftertaste of anise and almond, a wine that best expresses the Sicilian terroir.
