A still organic red from Lazio, 13.5% ABV, produced by Le Coste. Blend of Ciliegiolo, Merlot, and Sangiovese. A wine born from passion and a desire to showcase a unique terroir, with a respectful approach to nature and its rhythms. The Le Coste winery is located in Gradoli, in the province of Viterbo. The Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, and Merlot grapes, harvested partly in the Pitigliano area, were destemmed and fermented in amphorae for approximately three weeks. Once alcoholic fermentation was complete, the wine was aged in 500-liter amphorae for approximately a year. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits are complemented by earthy and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is lively, balanced, and persistent, with a finish that invites repeat tasting.
