Still organic red wine from Umbria, 14.5% ABV, produced by Lungarotti. 100% Sagrantino, a wine that embodies the history and tradition of a unique terroir, Montefalco, and of a family that has been producing excellent wines for over 60 years. Fermentation in stainless steel with maceration on the skins for 28 days. Aged for 12 months in barrique. Light filtration and 3 years in bottle before release. Ample and highly complex, it immediately expresses a beautiful array of red fruits (blueberry and sour cherry) with elegant woody notes (cocoa, sweet spices, and cinchona); lingering and very harmonious aromas. Deep ruby red with purplish hues. Powerful structure, beautifully concentrated and fresh fruit; fragrant acidity and dense, ripe tannins; persistent finish.
