A still red from Campania, a Taurasi DOCG Riserva Gulielmus, 14% ABV, produced by Tenute Capaldo, 2019 vintage. A wine that celebrates Aglianico, Campania’s flagship grape, with extraordinary elegance and complexity. On the nose, aromas of red fruits are complemented by balsamic and mineral notes. The color is ruby red. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and long, with firm tannins. Aged for 18-24 months in barrique and then in bottle for over 2 years. An ideal wine to accompany red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
