Still white wine made from Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, 12.5% ABV, produced by Teruzzi & Puthod. 100% Vernaccia di San Gimignano, 2024 vintage. A wine that embodies the history of a centuries-old grape variety, whose name derives from the Latin „vernaculus,“ meaning „of the place.“ In 1966, it was the first Italian white wine to be awarded the Controlled Designation of Origin (DOC), and in 1993, it received the Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin (DOC). Intense and persistent aromas with hints of mineral, fruity notes, and a subtle green note. Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, clear and bright. The flavor is bold but not aggressive, with a good balance between structure, freshness, and persistence, and characterized by an almond aftertaste.
