Barolo DOCG, still red wine, 14% ABV, produced by Sordo Giovanni. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75L bottle, 2019 vintage. A Barolo that embodies Piedmontese tradition, with grapes sourced from the prestigious Monprivato cru. The Sordo winery, founded in 1912, passionately cultivates the Castiglione Falletto vineyards, creating wines of great elegance. Destemming and crushing, vinification with fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with long submerged cap maceration of 4 to 7 weeks, depending on the vintage. Natural malolactic fermentation at 20°C. Aged for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels, 4-6 months in stainless steel, and a minimum of 6 months in bottle. The bouquet is rich and persistent, with hints of black cherry and floral nuances, which evolve over time into ethereal and spicy notes. The color is intense ruby red.
