Still red Lacrima di Morro d’Alba Superiore, 13% ABV, produced by Velenosi, a Marche-based winery founded in 1984. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. A Lacrima di Morro d’Alba Superiore made from Lacrima grapes grown in the San Marcello vineyards, in the province of Ancona. Maceration on the skins lasts approximately 20 days, with daily pumping over and almost exclusively closed to preserve the characteristic fruity and floral aromas of this grape variety. Aromas of singular richness. Intense, fruity with notes of strawberries and morello cherries, and floral with notes of violets and rosebuds. Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Plump, full-bodied, with elegant tannins and a dominant softness that harmonizes with the aromas. Smooth on the palate and good persistence.
