Beschreibung
Still red Barolo DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Sordo Giovanni. 100% Nebbiolo, 2020 vintage. A Barolo that embodies Piedmontese tradition, with a broad and persistent bouquet that evolves over time. The Sordo winery was founded in 1912, with vineyards of great potential, the famous „surì,“ ideal for producing wines of great quality and prestige. Vinification involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with long submerged cap maceration for 4 to 7 weeks. Aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, 4-6 months in stainless steel and a minimum of 6 months in bottle. The color is intense and stable over time. On the palate, it offers a great sensation of warmth; acids and tannins are always very evident but tending towards sweetness, with a very long aromatic finish. A great wine for long aging.
